A Family Business Since 1971

Who We are?

Copi Properties started in 1971, when Barbara and her then-husband began buying houses near campus as a way to save for their children's college education. Fifty years later, it's still a family business, run today by Barbara and her son Sam, along with Ty and Patrick, who handle maintenance across our properties.

What We Do

We rent houses, floors, and individual units to University of Michigan students, mostly groups of friends looking for a place to live together. We handle everything ourselves: showings, leases, maintenance, and the day-to-day of running thirty properties across Ann Arbor.

How We Do Things

We have a simple standard we hold ourselves to: treat tenants fairly, respond quickly when something goes wrong, and take pride in the houses we rent.
